As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Deborah Scholte is responsible for the strategic direction, organizational development, and people-focused growth of Brightlabs. She bridges the gap between strategy and execution, working alongside employees and clients to build a professional, future-proof organization. Her focus is on inspiring leadership, operational excellence, reliable quality, and a customer-centric culture where people can develop and achieve sustainable results together.

As CCO of Brightlabs, Bart Jansen connects our clients' needs with the right analytical solutions. Together with our highly skilled team of chemical professionals, he translates complex challenges into reliable, practical, and client-focused services. Using state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, specialist expertise, and a personal approach, Brightlabs assists organizations with a wide range of chemical and analytical issues. In this role, Bart focuses on building sustainable client relationships, fostering new partnerships, and driving the continued growth of Brightlabs.

Bart is a co-founder and responsible for operations at Brightlabs. He has a background in analytical chemistry and business administration. He began his career at Alcami (pharmaceutical industry) and has 15 years of experience in operational management within an analytical chemistry department in a pharmaceutical organization. He founded Brightlabs in 2015. His passion is health and healthy nutrition.

Andrea Butzen is a scientist and quality professional with a background in analytical chemistry and over ten years of experience in GMP and ISO 17025 regulated environments. Her career has taken her from hands-on analytical research during her PhD to leadership roles in Germany and the Netherlands, spanning both active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing and contract laboratories. Andrea has managed laboratory and QA teams, overseen projects from early R&D through to commercial production, and contributed to the development and improvement of quality systems. In addition, she has extensive experience in preparing for and managing client and regulatory inspections.

Sander Kok has over 25 years of experience in analytical chemistry and leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, food, and polymer industries. He joined Brightlabs in August 2025 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. His vision: combining scientific expertise, clear processes, and continuous improvement to deliver reliable results, predictable turnaround times, and satisfied clients.

Jeroen Wijker connects Brightlabs' analytical expertise with the challenges our clients face. As Business Development Manager, he builds lasting client relationships and translates complex questions into tailored analytical solutions. His focus is on personal collaboration, clear communication, and solutions that truly help clients move forward.
