Determine elements down to very low concentrations.

Using ICP-MS, Brightlabs identifies and quantifies multiple elements simultaneously, even in complex matrices and at very low concentrations.

When small amounts make the difference.

With our NexION 2000 ICP-MS, we can identify and quantify multiple elements simultaneously. Through microwave digestion, various collision modes, and automatic dilution, we control interferences and deliver reliable results, even in complex matrices.

Sensitive elemental analysis with control over complex matrices.

ICP-MS for targeted and broad elemental analysis.

/

High sensitivity

ICP-MS makes it possible to reliably determine elements at very low concentrations, even when multiple elements need to be analyzed simultaneously.

02

/

Control of interferences

With various collision modes, appropriate sample preparation, and automatic dilution, we minimize spectral and matrix-related interferences.

03

/

Suitable for complex matrices

Digestion, dilution, calibration, and analytical conditions are tailored to the sample matrix to achieve reliable quantification.

Partnership

From targeted analysis to broad elemental screening.

Brightlabs uses ICP-MS for various analytical challenges. From client-specific determination of selected elements to screening, pharmaceutical quality control, and nutrient analysis in soil and water.

/

Client-specific elemental analysis

For specific research questions, we develop a quantitative ICP-MS analysis tailored to the desired elements, concentration levels, and sample matrix. In doing so, we optimize aspects such as digestion, dilution, calibration, and interference correction.

02

/

TotalQuant screening

With our TotalQuant method, we screen for a large number of elements in a single analysis. This semi-quantitative approach is suitable for an initial inventory, comparing samples, and identifying unexpected elements or potential areas of concern.

03

/

Elemental impurities

For pharmaceutical applications, Brightlabs has a validated in-house ICP-MS method for elemental impurities in drug substances, drug products, and excipients. The method complies with ICH Q3D(R2) and the principles of USP <232> and <233>.

04

/

Matrix Suitability Test

We perform a Matrix Suitability Test in advance for every new product matrix. This allows us to demonstrate that sample preparation, recovery, dilution, and interference control are suitable for reliable quantification.

Macro- and micronutrients

Using ICP-MS, we determine macro- and micronutrients in soil, soil extract, and water samples. Depending on the research question, various elements and extraction methods can be selected.
